Double score or Legend

So I’ve sold a couple found rings and am ready for the next detector purchase. With spring coming up I’ll be shifting to water hunting, and my out of warranty equinox 600 took in some water last year. Luckily it was only in the lcd screen and it dried out and is my current land detector. The main feature I’m needing is that it’s waterproof. Mostly freshwater, but I will bring it on trips to the beach along the the 600.

So I’ve been eyeballing the legend for atleast a month or two now, and my gut is telling me to go with it, however I’ve watched some vids on the double score and that seems like it could be a good choice as well. I’ll probably go with the legend since it has more options, and if I really click with it, I may have end up liking it on land too.

So wondering if anyone currently owns both and do you prefer one to the other?

Even just for Ferrocheck alone, I'd go with the Legend over the DS.

You may already know this, but the newer Legends come with a 12x9 coil and a full carbon fiber shaft. The older Legends came with a 11" round coil, and a lower carbon shaft.

Ferrocheck is the cat's meow......The Accupoint pinpointer even has ferrocheck. LOVE IT!

Yeah I would say legend. By the time you buy the double score and the headphones, almost same price as legend. I bought a double score and quickly sold it to buy the legend that came with headphones.
