If it is "silverish" as he described in the ad, it sounds like someone baked it in the oven. I used to do that what I was a kid. Silver pennies were all the rage....

silverish colored penny that is 85% zinc and 15% copper. I want 4.600.00 for it. I was told this coin was rare. I had it appraised at "Mebane My Secret Closet" by a metal detector that showed element composition.

WOW!! A detector that not only finds items but describes them for you AND appraises?? You can do some sweet cherry picking with that machine!!
