I have purchased two CKG Beach scoops in the last year and both have bent while detecting. I detect in San Diego so not really rocky beaches but somehow have bent them. Does anyone know if they can be repaired or have suggestions on how to repair? Thanks

I will assume it is stainless, and is curved. You will nee a hammer that has a flat head (bodyman's hammer) a large pipe or a bodyman's dolly. Your hammer and dolly can be found at either harbor freight, or from a tool truck, I prefer Snap on. The pipe can be found at a scrap yard. put either the pipe or dolly under the bend part and us the hammer to reshape it.
I was a collision tech for 40 years, without seeing the damage it is rather hard to explain how to repair. just watch you tube on how to reshape damaged panels.

CKG scoops , Ive herd lots of problems , some sold ther's AS IS , Only one quality scoop maker IN THE USA now , that's Xtreme , 316 SS , or titanium . Or Stavr in Ukraine , happy hunting .
