Made it past the dreaded 2nd week of Chemo treatment...that's when the probability of heavier side effects are supposed to hit. Luckily this time only some chills and achiness which was quickly resolved with a few doses of EX Tylenol, per Drs. orders.

No loss of appetite, no lack of sleep, and no heavy nausea. Onward KT charges into this fray. Good news at the last Chemo was the Dr. telling KT that He could skip the usual 2 week dr office visit! Now that is progress!

Have yet to miss a day of work due to the way KT feels. One unusual thing the other night...sitting on the Royal Couch and suddenly KT feels the toes on His right foot start to pull and curl under in a cramp....after straightening them out, it happened a second time. KT immediately recognized a lack of salt that day in his diet and went and got some salty V8 juice, added more salt to it and drank it down. After a couple of minutes the effect quit and has not recurred. KT is more alert to his body than He had ever been, so perhaps that is one good thing the King has learned from all this! PAY ATTENTION!

Anywho, KT just wanted to report that all is well presently in KingTotsalot's Realm...He is sleeping well, now that the Royal Hound was banished from the bedroom, eating well, and enjoying each day as it comes!

Thanks for reading and for your concern, all you MDers of the Royal Forum Round Table!

KT takes it one day at a time and smells the roses by the road every day!

KT your in my prayers! Stay strong and never loose that positive attitude you have, and never ever ever loose your uncanny ability to always post in the 3rd person without error!  :D

I am glad to hear the great report KT. You are in my thoughts as I hope that you know. I am also glad that you are noticing what your body is telling you. Good to hear from you again my friend.

Doug

KT is extremely gratiful for all his friends in the Forum! And the combined prayers of everyone lifts me up each and every day! Thank YOU ALL, my friends!
Will continue in prayer for further success. I just told a member today about your experience with gold nuggets and the Compadre. We are grateful you're here!

Good News KT

Well KT its good to hear you are doing well! My feet and legs were cramping up really bad, waking me out of a dead sleep and could not be walked off or anything! Terrible pain for 5 to 15 minutes! I told my Dr. and he gave me Potassium pills I take every day. It still happens but rarely. Eat more Green Beans and Bananas and high in potassium foods, and power ade or gatorade! That might help too and let you drop your salt back down! Take Care and Good Luck and Happy Hunting KT......................Pat

Keep the spirits up!!! You can try and eating a banana a day the potassium might help with the cramping. It worked when I was training for a triathlon.

Thanks for the advice everyone....on eating a banana a day, I may be a Bad King and try that....dietician told me not to eat too many bananas! Bad for my diabetes all that natural sugar. But heck, ya gotta try sumpin! HA HA

Hey King, if you can't eat bananas because of the sugars then try raw spinach. Add it to your evening salad with dinner. : ) Glad to hear you're hanging in there fighting! : )
