KT arrived back at the Royal Castle after a leisurely lunch and Lo! The Royal Guard were in much turmoil. They stated that a busload of sightseers had arrived and they escorted them into the Royal Court Yard and set a Guard on them so that they might not scatter around inside the Royal Castle! His Majesty was somewhat amused at their reaction, but complimented them anyway....to wit, they had responded to the situation properly.

So KT parked the Royal Coach and entered the Castle through the side door. Peering from the shadows, He counted 20 Walkers, then braced HImself and made his Royal Presence announced. Ladies came at Him in all directions, but with a simple hand gesture, they recomposed themselves and came by in an orderly manner, His Majesty acknowledging each one as they bowed and came pass His Royal Countenance.

KT had the Royal Staff bring in the proper number of chairs and we were seated, then before anything was said, the Royal Kitchen staff, brought hot tea and served the ladies, then KT. Once all settled, the oldest lady, born in 1917, stood and introduced the group to His Majesty. They were from all over the country, ages ranging from as early as 1917 and 1920, through the 1930s, and most were born during WWII. They are all retired and through many channels they had heard that KT had established a long term sanctuary for them, as well as the many Bens and Kens on site. They wished to know if this was true. KT informed them that it was true and many 100s of their own kind were living in peace and harmony in His Majesty's Royal Kingdom. A look of relief came across their faces as KT implored them to end their traveling and to settle in His Royal Kingdom. They were besides themselves with appreciation to His Majesty. The Royal Guards were dismissed as they knew these Ladies would soon be residents of the Royal Realm.

KT encouraged these ladies to take a tour of the Castle, and then visit the Royal Baths. He alerted the Royal Laundry staff that they would soon have much work to clean and press all the dresses the Ladies would then need after their Bathes. KT also set the Royal Kitchen staff to work on a sizable banquet as KT and The Queen would entertain them this evening! They reassembled in the Royal Court Yard after the tour and bath and the Royal Photographer had them assemble for a snapshot.

A merry time was had by all at the Royal Banquet and they expressed how much they had enjoyed the tour, dinner and entertainment. Soon all were tucked away in a snug roll, dreaming of all they that awaits them on the morrow.

Enjoy the picture!
