I can charge my iPhone from the car USB port if the engine is running. what about the Equinox? Will it charge from the car USB port? anyone tried it? will it damage the Nox charging from the car?

I hunt in the park and field modes 90% of the time and the rest beach at a large inland lake. I don't hunt for gold nuggets. I have never adjusted the threshold setting. Amy I missing something here that I should know about changing the threshhold setting in park and field modes?
