buckles

Anyone out there have any idea how to identify or date these buckles? These are recent finds that I dug in a field that also returned a Ford Model T Distributor Cap and a Wheat penny dated 1920 along with several very old pieces of chain. Help appreciated.

Hello all! I found these in a field in Pennsylvania. A friend thought they're shoe buckles, although I did a couple searches, and didn't see any just like these. The buckles my searches returned seemed to be larger than these two. :?: Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...
