Didn't have a whole lot of time to detect today so I decided to do a little door knocking. First house I came to there was no answer so I went next door and got the okay.
The house was built in 1928 so I knew it had some potential.
The front yard wasn't very big but the backyard was. Scored a 1912-D well worn Barber dime in the front yard and a few wheats. There were a lot of those tripled signals so I figured all of that was shallow clad.
I went to the backyard and right away got a 1945-D Merc and shortly after not far away was a 1946-D Rosie giving me the old dime trifecta for one yard.
Earlier than that yard I pulled a 1918-D Merc out of a curb strip.
Not bad for an hour and a half of dinkin' around.
