Until the beaches improve I've been making the lake circuit with my Equinox and new 6" coil. For the second hunt in a row I found gold after about an hour which sure makes the rest of the hunt more enjoyable. A TID of 19-20 and a quick scoop revealed the unmistakable gleam of yellow metal poking out from the pile of wet sand!
I picked it up and realized that it was a decent sized men's ring- something I've not found much of recently.
It tips the scales at 7 grams which isn't big by any means but I don't even remember the last time that I found a bigger one.
After the gold ring I added rings of stainless steel, silver and tungsten along with 60-70 clad coins.
It's been a good start to 2020 after a slow 2019. I hope that I can keep it going. GL&HH!
