Mind Blowing $10,000+ in Total Clad!

I will never stop detecting though. I found my thing until I die. Maybe have my Nox next to me in the grave. LOL!!

Nox Dude

The 10 grand in U.S. clad in 7 years is an amazing achievement! I can only imagine that very few others, if any, have ever, or will ever equal that! Give a guy 40 years of coil swinging, then sure, we can hit 10K. The annual numbers you've been hitting are worthy of such elaborate displays. Well done Sir!
I suggest that when your time comes, they bury you with a picture of your ATPro and Nox, so they can display the real machines in a metal detecting museum.

I am in pretty good shape! I am 50 but I do run often. Just did 4 miles yesterday! My knees are fine tuned machines!! LOL!

The metal detecting actually helps keep you in shape along with the running. I'm nearly 74 years old and have been detecting for 37 years plus I do a lot of walking to stay in shape. Still have no problems with knees, back, shoulders, or any other joints. Keep doing what you're doing and you'll be out there for many years to come.

I absolutely love those photos! Amazing job! That is a great story, I don’t get to hunt often enough, so it will take me much longer! Congrats on the milestone!

Although I normally go out of my way to avoid clad (much prefer old coins) , yet .... that was a fun bit of tallies and pictures !

One place that I wouldn't mind going out for the sole-purpose of "bulking up on clad", is Japan. Where A) they have $1 and $5 coins, and B) the hobby , in most zones there, is virtually unheard of . Then I could envision how .... with a bit of TID cherry-picking .... that it could be a goal-unto-itself.

Truely impressive! although the first thing that went through my mind is you must have knees and a bak made of steel for all that digging lol

I used to know someone detecting Japanese beaches. he said they would bless their boats by throwing money at them. Wasn't uncommon to find $500 in a day. But what was really amazing was his eyeball finds. He told a story of walking across traffic to pop a gold ring out of the asphalt road since nobody looks down. Wish he was on here to post his train station finds:shock:

That is unbelievable! Yet there is the proof in Pics. Hard to fake dirty coins in those quantities. Just teasing!

Proof of a really dedicated hunter. I agree nobody can go wrong with the AT Pro or Equinox. The AT Pro is beautiful machine that has served its owners well over the years. I had one for 3 years before I got my 800.

Once Minelab gets out the production kinks, I think the Equinox will prove to be another classic detector.

Again, Congrats on your finds.

Great Merciful MultiFreak! What a beautiful picture! Its so glorious! I would like to subscribe to your newsletter! I want that table shot as a screen saver!

Really though NoxDude, Congratulations on an amazing cladslamming cladiferous achievement!..

I really doubt anybody will ever hit that kind of performance in the same time frame ever again....Not that they shouldnt try, but dang, even clad once pulled is not being replenished at any kind of appreciable rate anymore.....

You/Others commented about how healthy this Sport is for us...mentally, financially, physically, spiritually, socially even...

Consider this!....What other Man on this Planet can do 20000 squats per year? Besides maybe the taste tester at the Exlax factory?

You coming home for Christmas BTW? Its gonna be warmish here, like in the lower to mid 40's and we will be hunting!

The truth is: There really isn't a person named "mud-puppy". It's a pseudonym alias developed by a professional team of highly paid comedy writers.

And don't be fooled by any supposed pictures of this fictitious person. Those are just highly paid model stand-ins, that pose as this supposed person.

Hey Thanks Foragist! I appropriate what you said. Yes, I take my detecting seriously. Taking it to the next level for clad hunting. I am lucky to live in an area that very few hunt. Southern Calif is and was the perfect spot for hunting clad. Over 130 parks and many schools here. Plenty of opportunities out here. It helps to have the right equipment too. With determination and just having fun, getting totals like I have been getting, is crazy! I was averaging $100 per month. 3 times a week. Yeah, I think I found my calling until I die. And just think, my wife said that my ATPro was too expensive back in 2012. I told her, it will pay for itself in no time! LOL!!
