That is funny Soldier. I have all my Silver in a wooden cigar box (treasure chest) and its just a little over half full. What they hold though is a lot of great memories. TrapperCareful. Concentrating all of that silver into one spot could have some unintended impact on the Earth's orbit.
Thank you Metal. It is some very nice numbers but it represents a lot of time along with some very great adventures with some great friends. TrapperYeah that's a lot of loot!
Thank you Matt. Hope to add a few more to the count before the year ends. TrapperWay to go Trapper, way to go!
An excellent accomplishment Jack, and one many can't say they have done before, including myself. I think the craziest part of it all, is most of it came from public area's correct? looking forward to the next report, in the meantime, good luck out there!
Thank you Kevin, not only for the reply but the Video. The 1500 plateau was my goal for this year so anything more will be just bonus. With Trapping season just weeks away I think 200 will be out of reach. TrapperYou’ve had one hell of a run Trap, here’s the video of 1500...congrats again my friend!https://youtu.be/2VAd00_M7bM
Thanks Surgeon. Not only a lot of coins but a lot of memories. I have been truly bless with rewards not only treasure but some great friendships over the years in this hobby. TrapperCongrats on a whole lotta coins !
Appreciate the response Tyler, thank you. Kevin made the video happen and I'm very thankful for that. Last year with my retirement I was driven and a pretty good plan. I hunted about 28-30 hours a week with hunting at least 5 days a week. Guess it just wore me out. This year it has been more relaxed and I had health issues to contend with. That shifted a lot of my priorities. Still 1500 was my goal for the year and I feel very blessed to reach it. TrapperLoved the video. I have to say... you are the coolest group of guys. Congrats on the 1500. Just remarkable. Really nice year with 171. Seems somewhat over shadowed by last year's huge number, but still VERY good. You are an inspiration. I'm going to keep at it. Like you said, there is still silver coins even in Montana.... and Utah.
Appreciate your very kind words Mike, thank you. I don't know about "Master" but I try hard to continue to learn from the experience. Still I'm a slow teach. About next year I agree we got to make it happen. TrapperUnbelievable the dedication the work and the time you truly are the silver master Trapper . I only can hope and dream that some day i might be able to even come close to 1500 silver dug coins . Truly Amazing. One way or another we are going to make it happen for next year !
I also had that impression. Big territory with scarce population. Still there is history. The finds of those guys in that country has been no less than magnificent. No doubt highly impressive. TrapperI just have certain “school book images” in my mind of rugged canyons, tumbleweeds and rattlesnakes....not really a silver coin-filled image. But the history of those states is the Wild West, and somewhere in there are pioneers, settlers, and silver! It IS very surprising to see the numbers of silver coins found west of the Mississippi. WAY more than I thought there’d be...which is good for you guys!
You have that site nailed Soldier. Number 1500 was about forty feet up the line from Kevin's Seated. That Site has produce some very amazing coins for me including A Seated Quarter, a Barber, a Franklin Half and a couple of "V" Nickels. TrapperLooks like finding that seated quarter got you guys back out to that same field. That looks like the next corner over.
Thank you Ron for your very kind words. The milestone of 1500 was my goal for this year. Guess I can now start on next years goals. TrapperThat’s some really great hunting Trapper! Big Congrats on the 1500 silver milestone!
Appreciate your reply Andy, thank you. I know you have been busy of late still I miss your posts as you have made some really fantastic finds in the past. TrapperTrapper, Congrats on number 1500 !! Very impressive my friend....As always enjoy the posts and knowledge you pass along....Continued success to you...HH !
Thank you Jerry. It is not the year I had last year but this one has been pretty darn decent also. Your right about retirement as the Silver count since has been great. TrapperAnother amazing year! Retirement has been good for your silver count LOL!
Appreciate your reply Jeff, thank you for you very kind words. Both the Rings are smaller than a Penny but the littlest one is by far just plain tiny. It is funny as it rang in big on the "Nox" TrapperI think that’s the smallest ring I’ve seen. I had a small one that fit inside a penny and thought that was tiny.... your silver tally is pretty dang amazing, as usual, nice hunting Trapper. Always inspiring posts!
Thank you Ma6tor.The early fall season has been very good for me. Just wish I had more time to play. TrapperVery nice haul. Good work!
Thank you Ben for your reply. The 1500 represents a lot of cherish memories over the years in this hobby. There is nothing bad about digging 40 Silver Coins in a year. Actually it is very impressive. TrapperCongrats on 1500!! That's amazing! I am pushing for my best year yet nearing 40 lol. I might have to move to a different state if I want to make it to 1500 one day. Anyway I ways enjoy your posts and you definitely are an inspiration to many of us.
You’ve had one hell of a run Trap, here’s the video of 1500...congrats again my friend!https://youtu.be/2VAd00_M7bM
