Show me your Largies

These are a couple... Most of them are toasted and require the right light and high magnification to identify.

I’ve only ever found 3. And they were all this year. I was overjoyed to find every one of them too! It was my main bucket list item this year. All 3 are 1848 too believe it or not.

After seeing some amazing Large Cents recently, I wanted to give them their due.
Please post your Large Cents here.
I have only ever found three of these, the first on a cold blustery day in September of 2012.
It was very well preserved in the sand under a sidewalk:D

Tom don’t pee yourself the Probably type large cent you find

Hi Matmit, one of the best LC I've seen dug,WTG. Here is two I dug, came out of the same hole. Both are 1829, one on the right was heads up, the other heads down.In 45 years of hunting I've found about 30 U S large cents.Went 7 years before I found the first one.

Two Largies in one hole both the same date??

Found at a school soccer field this past summer and boy was I surprised! Didn't have my glasses with me so first thought it was a presidential token from a gas station!

Here is the real toasted LC.
There is just enough outline of Lady Liberty to tell this is a Braided Hair from 1839-1857.

Moderators, please delete this post. On account of that it's making us west coast guys sick to our stomach .

The only good post on this thread so far, was puppy-mud, of course

Here are my US Large cents from the last four years. Some are in OK shape but our soil is rough on old copper
