Welcome to the club Tom!

Just think, the guy who dropped that silver dollar could have a room for the night and a steak dinner in 1890! Nice find Tom!

Congrats on the big one,,,,, So few has found one of those,,,,, When so many are looking for it,,,,, :detector:

Thats a beauty! It shows some miles and has some real character! That whole stretch is some nice old paydirt there Tom!
Thanks guys for all the nice comments! Still feels like a dream... Now if I could only find a SLQ!

Wow! Congrats on the Morgan and other nice finds. My 42 year quest to dig a Morgan continues...
Congrats on a rare find!!! I first swung a detector 48 years ago and still have not found one either. When my dad was alive he only went detecting with me maybe 6 times at the most. Out in the desert where Patton's army was training in the early 40's, I found over 50 coins one trip and my dad found 3 coins but 1 was a Peace Silver Dollar. You just never know! :?:

Thanks guys! That’s why I love this hobby, because you really never know what you might unearth next! Best of luck to all of you!

It’s hard to believe someone COULD lose one of those, they’re so big and heavy a person would KNOW that it’s not in their pocket anymore...but maybe yours was lost some other way. At any rate, you are now officially a club member!
Congrats on a whopper Tom!

Congrats on the sterling, trio of Mercs and especially the very big silver...outstanding hunt!

Thanks! I know I keep thinking about how the heck this was lost??? I always picture kids playing with the coins then loosing them in the grass. I guess we will never know for sure...

Definitely on everyones bucket list I would imagine - definitely on mine.
