Or at least that is what I keep telling myself. I have been to this older town 3 different days, only a couple hours at a time, and all I have come up with is 1 wheat penny and 1 newer penny. Now I am hunting where there use to be a bank and a grocery store. Now its just empty lots. So I know there is going to be a lot of junk in the mix. So I have the 5x8 coil on, wide open. And knowing this junk is present, I am just digging the high tones with 80 plus on the screen. This is what I am getting.
Now these finds have all been between 80 and 95. All good sounding quick high tones. That's swinging from different angles, checking for the iron and watching to see if there are bouncy numbers. This is what I end up with. And after I retrieve the junk, I move the plug to the side and swing over it again. Nothing. Put the plug back in and swing over it. Nothing So I am getting the target that the detector has led me to. But WHY is this iron ringing so high? This is why I want to break the pro in half.
