Maiden voyage with the AT Max. Took it out to a farm I have pounded to absolute death, or so I thought... The Max snuck out all of these keepers I had previously missed. The dime was 6 inches straight up and down at a 90 angle. The Sterling pipe piece is a British hallmarked piece that connected the pipe bowls to the pipestem. The tag is really cool but I’m not sure what it is. I was thinking maybe a dog tag or old chauffeur license? But I can’t find any information. It was deep as well. The V was about 7 inches deep in an area I had previously been over countless times with the pro. The green wheat was probably a solid foot in the ground and the Max screamed that it was there. Unlike the pro, the max doesn’t get quieter when something is deeper. I am absolutely blown away by this machine. It is not afraid to get down and deep. People that hyped this machine are not blowing smoke. I had my honest doubts it was over-glorified but I’m extremely happy with it. I would recommend it to anyone. I was out for about 5 hours and quickly got accustomed to the slight difference from the pro. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the Iron audio noise, it sounds like a constant fart instead of the electronic violin of the pro. Other than that I like how loud the max is when there’s a target there. I dug deep and the max SCREAMED there was a target there. I really like the max as my new main but I’m still going to keep the pro as a backup. It puts my pro with the big coil to shame. I can only imagine the depths the max could get with the storm coil on. I’ll bring egg rolls if I use it. Thanks for reading!
