I have a t2 se. Love it!

I also have a T2 been finding a lot of old coins since i started useing it including a 1945 walker half. It's a great machine.

Just bought a T2 SE and I have hunted twice with it. Been a lesson in frustration at times, but the reputation definately preceds the machine so I will stick with it.

Been spending a lot of time researching all the little nuances with the machine trying to zero in on how to get that perfect setup when I step onto the hunting field and then know what I am hearing.

I run the T2 SE. GREAT machine!! I find tons of great stuff. I am primarily a coinshooter/button head, but I find all sorts of great relics as well. I've got a good grasp on this machine, so if anyone needs tips hit me up.

Hi, I have a Teknetics T2 SE and I love it. I am in a 'wild west' country for metal detecting so have been pillaging the soil of coins and relics. My favorite settings for the T2 are sens 70, disc 10 and 2+ tones. I am focusing on those deep iffy signals at present. Happy to be here. I'm not a scientific type metal detectorist so the "dp" mode and the other tones I don't understand.

Hello everyone. I just bought a used T2 SE and cannot wait until the ground gets soft enough to dig so I can give it a good test and learn how to pull some goodies out of the ground.

Ground is still pretty frozen here but you can dig down a couple inches in some spots. Found my first coin this weekend. It is only a 1971 D but it sure was fun to find. Made me realize I have a lot to learn about this T2SE.

I have owned a T2 (green machine) for over a year now, but am still a little intimated by it. I am unsure of the proper method to properly ground balance the unit. I was also fairly unsure about how to PP with a large double D coil, but I am starting to get the hang of that finally. One of the first coins I ever found with the T2 was a wheatback...but sadly, I have less than 3 hours in the field with it. I got spoiled by the Tesoro units and how light they are, the T2 feels like a sledge hammer compared to the compadre.

I didn't know this place existed on Friendly. I have been a member here for some time but haven't added anything for awhile. I've had my T2 SE for a couple of years. The proper way to ground balance is called "Ground Grab" if the T2 is like the SE. Find a spot with no targets,Push the trigger forward as you pump the coil up and down until there is little difference in sound. You will notice a number on the display. This is your balance number. Release the trigger. You are ground balanced. Good luck!

Hi, Im Jon and just got my T-2 green,only had it out once this week, just recieved it last Friday,I have other MDS, ace 350,bh platinum and now a t-2, which appears to total awesome, been detecting on/off 10-12 years, since retireing been hunting abot 3 times a week and love it. I will ask some questions that i dont know ,so please bear with me, trying to learn the t-2
