So I made a post here a few days ago about getting a pinpointer and you guys all came through with lots of suggestions, etc. Lots of helpful thoughts and wanted to thank everyone. I did end up finding a deal I absolutely could not pass on. I ended up getting a Brand New Quest Xpointer 2 FOR $50, which tbh I thought was to good to be true, but it was real and got a brand new Quest xpointer 2 (still in the box) for $50. That being said though, if my health allows me to continue on next season, do you think the xpointer will be something that will keep up with me? I really thought the discrimination feature on a Pinpointer was pretty cool, but I haven't taken it out for a test drive yet to know if it's actually a feature that is more than just "hype words" hehe, so I am wondering if next season if I ended up buying the detector I have plans for which is getting a XP Deus back (had one right before I left Detecting and loved it), so if I go the XP Deus route, I was thinking it maybe a smart idea to grab a XP MI-6 to pair up with it, but I guess we will see after I actually take the Quest xpointer through its paces. I also am planning on starting a YouTube channel to document my "Detecting Journey" mainly because after I got into my Motorcycle accident and went through everything I went through, I ended up with lots of back and hip problems, knee problems and permanent nerve damage, so not only do I have to deal with all that. I also ended up becoming so inactive due to the issues that I ended up gaining lots of weight. So I am planing on not only showing my Metal Detecting hunts. But also the journey to getting life back on track after a huge life changing life event! I am still pretty self conscious about making recordings, and I will probably not end up showing myself in the videos at first but I do plan on making my way up to that point, because even though there are going to be mean, disgusting, negative, degrading trolls out there, I also know that I have been in the Metal Detecting community for 20 years too and know that the Detecting community itself is a AMAZING group of people who have been nothing but supportive and kind! Sorry this pinpointer posted turned into me talking about other stuff but I just wanted to say Thank You to all the people who has shown support, shown love, left awesome and wholesome comments and even private messages from people that don't even know me on a personal level but still sent messages as if I was a relative! You guys are amazing. That being said tho, that was another reason I am already talking about another detector and another pinpointer, because if I start a YouTube channel. I know that having a variety of Detectors helps with traction on the channel.
