Electroists can do some killer things. I've taken rusted relics that were falling apart in flakes and when done, it was solid again.

If you have access to a " sand blaster " it does help quite a bit . Where I work they have one and I have " DISCOVERED " it . I would not use it on coins but old rusty artifacts it does help quite a bit . just be careful , smaller items like dug spoons and forks etc.. it will take so much material off that the item will look almost Fake .
